Red Energy PR hires Marketing & Event Manager

The Red Energy PR family welcomes Katy Houston-Hartshorn as the firm's new Marketing & Event Manager. In her new role, Katy will primarily support our local and national clients in the hospitality, sustainability, and financial industries through strategic community engagement, event management, digital marketing and B2B partnerships.

Prior to her role with Red Energy, Katy was the Gift in Kind Coordinator at Springs Rescue Mission and co-founded Empowering Education, a local non-profit that creates curriculum addressing social-emotional needs in children. Katy has a Bachelors Degree in Organizational Strategic Communication from University of Colorado Colorado Springs. Katy also serves on the Marketing Committee for VisitCOS.

Currently, Katy oversees the Ent Credit Union special events, GFL Environmental digital marketing content development and management, and ViewHouse Colorado Springs' community outreach campaign.
